The UV lamp provides the necessary UV light to destroy DNA, and the electronic ballast controls the system and features a 365-day countdown timer for the lamp.

To ensure optimal performance, the water quality should meet certain pre-treatment requirements, such as low levels of iron, hardness, turbidity, manganese, and tannins, as well as high UV transmittance. The system can be installed vertically or horizontally and is designed for easy maintenance, with the UV lamp requiring annual replacement and the quartz sleeve needing cleaning every 6-12 months or replacement every 24 months.
